These Terms govern 3 Worx Academy at academy.3worxsolutions.com, operated by 3 Worx IT & Media Solutions (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2018/631179/07), trading as 3 Worx Solutions, Roodepoort, Gauteng, South Africa. By creating an account or using the Academy, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Academy.
The Academy
3 Worx Academy provides practical online training built from real 3 Worx work. It is open to 3 Worx interns first. Courses for the public will open later. Course content, availability and features may change as we build the Academy.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person. Do not share your login or let someone else take a course or assessment for you.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Intern access
- Intern access is by invitation from 3 Worx and is free.
- It lasts for your internship, or for as long as 3 Worx decides, and may end when your internship ends.
- Your supervisor at 3 Worx can see your progress and results.
- Internal 3 Worx material in intern courses is confidential. Do not copy or share it outside 3 Worx.
Acceptable use
You may not use the Academy to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright;
- copy, record, resell or publish course material without our written permission;
- cheat in an assessment, including by having another person or an AI tool complete it for you where the course does not allow that;
- try to make an AI instructor or other AI feature produce harmful, unlawful, discriminatory or misleading content, or bypass its safeguards;
- submit other people's personal information to an AI feature without a lawful reason;
- harass other learners, instructors or staff, or post offensive material;
- interfere with the website, its security or other users' access.
If you break these rules, we may remove content, cancel an assessment result or certificate, or suspend or close your account.
AI instructors
Some instructors are AI. A named person at 3 Worx is responsible for each one, and our people review course material before it is published. You can ask us whether a specific instructor is AI, and ask for a person to review any answer or assessment result. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use AI and your data.
Certificates
We issue a certificate when you meet the completion requirements of a course. We may cancel a certificate obtained by cheating or by breaking these Terms. Certificates show completion of our training. They are not a formal qualification unless the course says so.
Content and intellectual property
All course material, logos and website content belong to 3 Worx or its licensors. You may use course material for your own learning only. Anything you submit in a course remains yours, but you allow us to use it to run the course, mark assessments and give feedback.
Paid plans, payment and refunds
There are no paid plans yet. When paid plans launch, these rules will apply:
- Prices will be shown in South African rand (ZAR) before you pay.
- Cooling-off: if you buy a plan online, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act may give you 7 days to cancel and get a refund, where that right applies. It may not apply to content you have already accessed at your request.
- Fixed-term plans: under section 14 of the Consumer Protection Act, you may cancel by giving 20 business days' notice. A reasonable cancellation charge may apply.
- Monthly plans: you may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
- If we change a price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or on this website.
Availability
We aim to keep the Academy available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, load-shedding, internet outages or events outside our control may affect it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the Consumer Protection Act allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profits, data or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for gross negligence.
Ending your account
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. When an account closes, we handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the South African courts.
Changes to these Terms
If we make a material change to these Terms, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or on this website. A minor change, or a change made to comply with the law, may apply when we post it.
